He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anne Beatrice Murphy Applewhite and Claude Lee Applewhite; his wife June Applewhite; his son Brian Applewhite (Tricia); his granddaughter Kaitlyn Applewhite (Wesley) of Taylors, SC; his nieces, Cathy Brown (Sid), Arloa Dolphin (Brien) and Robin Applewhite; and his brothers, John "Sonny" Applewhite and William "Billy" Applewhite.
