He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Shreder Curtiss and Harold E. Curtiss; his wife Ethlyn Zipperer; his daughter MaryAnn Palmisano (David); his sister Pauline Keith; and his stepmother Elinor Curtiss.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Curtiss (Lorie) of Pawleys Island, SC and Barbara Curtiss of Evans, GA; and his grandchildren, Scott Curtiss (Sarah), Kelly Curtiss, Robert Holt, Betsy Link (Kevin) and Jennifer Figueroa (Danny). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
