It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Earp Hewitt of Evans, Georgia, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Harold Earp; her sister Donna Hicks; and her mother Bonnie Maynard. She is survived by: her husband Talmadge Hewitt, Sr. (Evans Ga); her children, Talmadge Hewitt Jr. (Jennifer) of Omaha, Elizabeth Smith (Evans Ga), Kristine Hewitt of Evans, GA and Spencer Hewitt (Shana) of Roanoke, VA; her grandchildren, Kaydn Hewitt (Sunny), Alexis Hewitt, Courtney Smith, Gavin Smith, Kristian Hewitt, Jaelyn Waid and Sawyer Hewitt; and her sister Dolly Cappa of Columbia, MO..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Platt's Funeral Home - Evans (337 N Belair Rd, Evans, GA 30809).
