He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Whaley and Mamie Lee Whaley (Denham); his wife Imogene Mashburn Whaley; his siblings, Burleson, Jewel Abbott, Judy Abbott, John Whaley and Thomas E Whaley Sr.; his children, Tony Whaley and Sheila Whaley; and his grandson Rob Helton.
He is survived by: his sister Shirley Simpson (Bill); his children, Marsha Brookshire and Steve Whaley; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Gilreath (Tommy), Melissa Westmoreland (Shane), Dewayne Whaley (Jill), Mindy Goddard (Phil), Merissa Prince (David), Chris Whaley (Robyn), Jan Besinger (Chuck), Jennifer Duvall (Dallas) and Brittany Whaley. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
