She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Mathis and Mary Magdalene Mathis; and her brother Larry Mathis. She is survived by: her brother Steve Mathis (Pamela); her nieces, Rhonda Kunkel (Matthew) and Jody Mathis (Jim Robison); and her great-nephews, Dylan Kunkel (Asia Adomanis), Corbin Kunkel (Caitlyn), Jim Robison III and Burns Robison.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel of McCaysville McCaysville Chapel (1478 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Lebanon Baptist Church (845 Lebanon Rd, Epworth, GA 30541).
