We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2023, at the age of 92, Helen Tranthem of Epworth, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Ebb Green; her husband Edward Tranthem; her son-in-law Howard Long; her grandson-in-law Tim Walden; and her siblings, Peggy Thompson and Lloyd Stepp.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Long, Patricia Thomas (John), Cindy Taylor (BJ) and Michael Tranthem (Shelia); and her grandchildren, Rebekah Walden, Tim Long (Jennifer), Sara Johnson (John), Julie Roberts (Kenneth), Randy Thomas, Christopher Thomas (Teresa), Aaron Taylor, Matthew Taylor (Misty) and Justin Tranthem.
