He was predeceased by: his father Lon Junior Dockrey; his stepmother Cora Mae Dockrey; his son-in-law Scott R. Hamilton; his parents-in-law, Albert and Hassie Dillard; and his brother-in-law Sam Dillard.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy N. Dockrey; his children, Kevin Dockrey (Coleen), Karl Dockrey, Karen Hamilton and Kimberly Dean (Brian); his grandchildren, Kendra Cash (Teddy), Kaby Hamilton, Elisha Jones (Grayson), Heather Dockrey, Michael Dockrey, Christy Dockrey, Brittany Dockrey, Bridget Dockrey, Travis Queen, Elle Queen, Will Dean, Kassie Dean, Haley Elliot and Chris Kincannon; his brothers, William Dockrey (Nadine), James Dockrey (Genevieve) and Jerome Dockrey (Robin); and his parents-in-law, Gary, Nancy Dillard, Lil Dillard, Susie, Roger Young and Jerry Dillard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
