He is survived by: his wife Patricia Payne; his children, Shannon Payne of McCaysville, GA, Amanda Bradburn (Jason) of Mineral Bluff, GA and Jessica Payne of Moulton, AL.; his sister Betty Yarborough (Dan) of Sweetwater, TN; his brother-in-law James Fortner; his parents-in-law, J. C. and Margaret Lewis; his sister Tammy Gibby (Rodney); his sister-in-law Pam Campbell of Blue Ridge; and his grandchildren, Connor Payne, Heath, Gavin Bradburn and Alexis Teems (Justin).
