She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia Coone; her stepfather Max Bentley; and the father of her children Gerald Allen Sumner. She is survived by: her children, Angela Goforth (Bobby) of Enigma, Gerald "Jeri" Sumner, Jr. Lee (Patrick) of Fernandina Beach and Jessie Clark Sumner of Tifton; her grandchildren, Cherish Osborne (Kelly) of Ocilla and Evan Goforth (Nikki) of Adel; her great grandchildren, Kiley, Kellen Osborne, Layla and Lucy Goforth; and her sisters, Kathy Bentley, Connie Cordell of Ocala, FL. and Peggy Ducote of Valdosta.
