She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kelly Sapp and Carrie Luke Sapp; her husband Robert Malton "Bo" Furr; her son Robert; and her siblings, W. H. Sapp, J. W. Sapp, Ivey Cone, Scrappy Dillard and Jackie Childs.

She is survived by: her daughter Virginia Furr "Jenny" Merritt; her grandchildren, Lee Burgess of Tifton, Candy Burgess of Tifton, Sandy Burgess of Tifton, Jody, Jessie Key of Pensacola, Florida, Wade and Ashley Harnage of Ashburn; her great grandchildren, Nicki, Heather Key, Tripp Burgess, Taylor Burgess, Shane Scott and Melissa Scott (Steve Lovett); and her great great grandchildren, James Lovett and Blake Lovett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Enigma Congregational Christian Church, 355 South Main Street, Enigma, GA 31749.
