It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ada Fowler Ferguson of Emerson, Georgia, born in Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas David Fowler and Lena Fay Jones Fowler; her former husband Joe; her brothers, James, Ray (Cecelia) and Harry (Doris); her brothers-in-law, Earl Woody, Donald Stepp and Herman Hardigree; her sisters, Dorothy Fowler Woody and Barbara Faye Fowler Littlefield; and also, Pledger and Delia.
She is survived by: her cousin Bob; her children, Pam (Howard Elrod) and Joey Ferguson; her grandchildren, Brandon, June Elrod, Holly Elrod, Bart Skeeters, Jennifer, Lonnie Jones and Faith Fox; her great grandchildren, Bentley, Bay, Brent, Brooke, Jace, Zoey, Zackery, Izabelle, Trinity and Micaela; her sisters, LeNelle Bland, Eva Jo Stepp and Martha Hardigree; her sister-in-law Ellen Perkins Ferguson; her brother Robert Fowler (Faye); her brother-in-law Jerry Littlefield; and her husband Joseph Ferguson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Mary's son and daughter have advised regrettably no visitation will be scheduled with family and friends due to Covid-19 guidelines.
