She was predeceased by: her parents, Newt Shuler and Dora Buchanan; her husband Jimmy Maddox; her son Stanley Maddox; her siblings, Jimmy Shuler, Junior Shuler, Charles Shuler, Bobby Shuler, Grady Shuler, Billie Shuler and Bonnie Winters; and her granddaughter Tina Maddox.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Maddox of Gainesville and Scott; her daughter-in-law Laurie Maddox of Gainesville; her daughter Jean; her son-in-law Doyal Dacus of Ellijay; her daughter Joy Maddox of Gainesville; and her grandchildren, Josh Maddox, Jessie McCay, Brooks Dacus, Dustin Dacus, Davey Dacus, Jennifer Scamihorn and Stephanie Cornelson. She is also survived by great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
