She was predeceased by: her boyfriend Roger Hopper; and her brother Frankie Newberry. She is survived by: her children, Amanda Leigh Hightower and Justin; her daughter-in-law Britney Hightower; her grandsons, Logan and David Hightower; her mother Bertha Weaver Newberry (Weaver); her siblings, Wilma (Layton Green), Thelma Champion, Tamer, Faye Mansfield, Vickie McClure and Danny Newberry of Rydal, GA; and her pets, Elam, Patrick, Baby Boy and Baby Girl. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
