He was predeceased by: his parents, William Griffin Lowry and Mildred Robertson Lowry; his grandmother Esther Lowry; and his brothers, Jerry and Lamar Lowery.
He is survived by: his uncles, Philip and Doyle Lowry; his wife Mary Jo Lowery; his sons, Tommy Lynn Lowery Jr. and Joseph William Lowery; his grandchildren, Eric Lowery, Major Jason Lowery, Joseph Lowery Jr. and Heather Lowery; his great grandchildren, Eliana Lowery and Weston Lowery; and his cousins, Jennifer Lowry and Susan Hunt.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ellijay First United Methodist Church (75 McCutchen St, Ellijay, GA 30540).
