It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Erwin Wood of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father James A. Wood; and his brothers, James Lowell Wood and Harrill Wood. He is survived by: his wife Jovencia "Vence" A. Wood; his daughter Shayni Lei Grant of Ooltewah, TN; his sister-in-law Clara Wood; his grandchildren, Chandler Grant and Hannah; his great-nephew Sid May (Frances); and his niece Susan Mears (Lee). He is also survived by several cousins; and friends.

Food and flowers will be accepted, or donations can be made to to the Northcutt Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in memory of Mr. Robert E. Wood.
