He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Douglas Lee West; his mother Susie Waters West; his brother Terry Lee West; his grandparents, Boyd, Azzie Waters, N. A. and Flora May West; his sons, Nathan West (family: Cayla, Haden, Mason, Lance, Addie Lou) and Corey J. West; his father Ronnie West; his wife Sue West; his sister Kathy West (Chris Stearns); and his stepbrother Tim Starks. He was also cherished by Numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540).
