It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Ann Townsend of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on September 2, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Griffin of Canton and Lori Marshall of Jasper; and her siblings, James Bishop of Marietta and Betty Chumley of Acworth. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cagle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
