She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Walter Childress and Pauline Byrd Childress; her son Mark Lane Stells; and her husband Harold Leon Stells. She is survived by: her children, Laurianna Reece (Joe) of Jasper, GA and William "Billy" Stells (Deanna) of Ellijay, GA; her grandchildren, Odin Drake and Lena Elon of Ellijay, GA; and her brother Gary Childress (Janet).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Funeral Home (121 Claremore Dr, Woodstock, GA 30188). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
