She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hill and Lola Belle Hill (Sluder); her husband Jesse James Powell; and her brothers, Willard Hill, Bob Hill and Frank Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara P McPipkin (Paul) of Forsyth, Van Powell (Karen) of Ellijay and Tony Powell (Penny) of Ellijay, GA; her grandchildren, Greg McPipkin, Chris McPipkin, Tim McPipkin, Lindsey Taylor, Jamie Powell, Laura Bramlett, Curt Powell, Hope P. Johnson and Taylor P. James; her great grandchildren, Ava Taylor, Ellie Taylor, Luke Taylor, Maddy McPipkin, Ansley McPipkin, Finley McPipkin, Chase McPipkin, Reed McPipkin, Staci Kate Hunter, Penelope McPipkin, Brandon Powell, Jacob Powell, Cole Powell, Grace Bramlett, Emma Kate Bramlett and Reece Bramlett; her great great grandchildren, Mackenzie Powell, Payton Powell and Elisabeth Powell; and her brother Carl (Jean Hill, Sr.).
