She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Battles and Beatrice Strickland Battles; her husband Richard L. Edwards; her son Scott; her daughter-in-law Megan Edwards; her daughter Staci Edwards; her brother Bryan Battles; and her grandchildren, Bryn Edwards, Keaghan Edwards and Bella Edwards. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
