She was predeceased by: her father James Swanson; and her husband Rev. E. D. Griffin. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Griffin and Rita Keener; her siblings, Freddie Swanson, Murl Swanson and Frances Smith of Kennesaw; and her grandsons, Matthew Keener and Adam Keener. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memory of Mrs. Mary Griffin, to the Salem Baptist Church Food Pantry in care of Gary Hyde.
