Marvin Jones Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 71, Marvin Jones of Ellijay, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marvin Jones to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Jones and Burnice Ruth "Lowe" Jones; and his brother Emory Jones. He is survived by: his wife Lavonne Jones; his children, Melonie Clemmons-Lockhart (Rob) and Brent Clemmons (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Brentney Clemmons Cooper "Coop", Savannah Clemmons, Shelby Clemmons, Sidney Clemmons, Emily Clemmons and Ana-Verie Lockhart; his sister Clola McArthur (Buford); and his sister-in-law Wanda Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Logan Funeral Home (357 Dalton St, Ellijay, GA 30540). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel (357 Dalton St, Ellijay, GA 30540).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
