He is survived by: his wife Geneva Painter (Sue Weaver); his sons, Dana McArthur of Woodstock, Benjamin H. Painter (Kiyoko Painter) of Pacifica, CA and Jeffrey M. Painter of Ellijay; his siblings, J. W. Painter of Chatsworth, Jerry Painter of Ellijay and Ozella Garner of Chatsworth; and his grandchildren, Daniel Blake Kirk, Gaige Gagnon, Davis McArthur and Jackson Painter.
