It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Fay Burton of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Athol, Kentucky, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Matt Watkins Jr.; and her brothers, James Watkins and Richard Watkins. She is survived by: her husband Arnold Burton; her sons, Alan Ray Burton of Ellijay, Daniel Clay Burton of Ellijay and Shaun Dewayne Burton of Ellijay; and her brother Kenneth David Watkins. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
