She was predeceased by: her siblings, Melanies Burgess Defoor, Cecil Burgess and Emmuel Burgess (Franklin B. Quarles). She is survived by: her parents, Mattie Davis and Glenn Burgess; her children, Lois Quarles Pankey of Springfield, OH and Michael F. Quarles of Ellijay; her grandchildren, Ava Trinkler, Timothy, Benjamin Arnold and Theresa Pankey; her brother Emmit Burgess; and her sister-in-law Rosa Lee Burgess of Ellijay.
