He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Langford and Mildred Langford (Carroll); his brother Wayne Langford; and his brothers-in-law, Arlin Webb, Sr. and Richard Strecker.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Langford (Akins); his children, Kayla Long (Chris) and Michael Langford (Shelby); his siblings, Patricia Webb and Charles Bowman; and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Akins Chastain (Edward) and Delores Akins Strecker. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
