She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Piney Phillips and Mattie Ellen Lyde Phillips; her former husband Robert Ringwalt; and her sons, Bob Ringwalt and Max Ringwalt.

She is survived by: her husband Charles L. Moody; her son Joe; her daughters-in-law, Carol Ringwalt, Lynn Ringwalt and Agnes Smith Ringwalt; and her grandchildren, Melissa Ringwalt, Meredith Anderson (Keith Michael), Amanda Davenport (Kyle), Christopher Ringwalt (Laura) and Sarah Ringwalt Smith.
