He is survived by: his wife Bessie Mae Sanford; his children, Helen (Joe Patterson), Patricia Lands, Geneva Callihan, Donna (Ruel Johnson), Patsy Ann Mullinax, Penny (Roy Carroll) and Cricket Mantooth; and his brother Jesse Mullinax. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren.
