He was predeceased by: his parents, George Storms of Washington and Ethel Sisco Storms (Holland) of Virginia; his wife Jo Ann Storms (Waters); his daughter Vivian Thurman; and his sisters, Ethel Kyle and Gladys Osborne.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda (Jeremiah Wright) and George Storms; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah Dawson Wright, Brad Wright, Anna Bradford, Tommy Bradford and Angela Bassett. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to Parkside Nursing Home in Ellijay in memory of George.
