It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Farrell Starnes of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 97, on February 14, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel "Sam" Thomas and Lucy Patterson Thomas; her husband Hubert Roger Starnes; her grandson Kylan Starnes Warren; and her siblings, R. S. Thomas, John Thomas, Sr., Gene Thomas, Albert Thomas, Don Thomas and Thelma Souther.
She is survived by: her daughters, Candra Warren (Kenny) of Ellijay and Chela Bailey (Jim) of Ellijay; her granddaughters, Melinda Fonteboa (Kris), Mary Melissa Hall (Andrew), Kennedi Kirkland (Benjamin) and Melody Suarez (Daniel); and also, Alene Wimpey, Bonnie Read and Maria Walker. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Of Ellijay Fellowship Hall. A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
