He is survived by: his wife Diane Harper Sams of Ellijay; his daughters, Nicole (Mike O'Brien), Margaret (Robbie Corn), Heather Sams and Holly Chastain; his grandchildren, Jacey Aaron, Zachary "Zach" Aaron, Jaylin Stanley, Bryce Barclay, Kash Chastain, Erin O'Brien, Keira O'Brien, Tyler Corn (Anna) and Emmie Corn; his great grandchild Caiden Corn; his mother-in-law Dorothy Harper; his siblings, Lisa Kidd, Anne "Nancy" Singleton and Douglas "Doug" M.; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Sams, Pat McClure, Brenda Harper, Carole Spearman and Lisa Harper.
