With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores Ann Hoyt of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on March 17, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dolores Ann leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Asbey and Edna Mae Carney Cannon; and her husband Leonard Keith Hoyt. She is survived by: her son Johnathan Curtis; her daughter-in-law Jamie Keener Hoyt of Ellijay; her granddaughter Shelby Lynn Hoyt of Ellijay; her sister Brenda Cannon; her brother-in-law Jeff Dorman of Houston; and her brother Gary.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion (357 Dalton St, Ellijay, GA 30540). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery.
Flowers are being accepted, and donations may be made to the American Diabetic Association.
