It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Allen Ellis in Ellijay, Georgia, born in Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Henry Ellis and Nancy Kemp; and his siblings, William, Calvin and Nancy.

He is survived by: his wife Golda Jacqueline Wood-Ellis; his stepchildren, Monte Allen Wood and Cherry Ann Charles; his grandchildren, Tyler Wood, Spencer Wood, Kelley Casey and Haley Martinez; and his great grandchildren, Colin, Finnegan, Tobin, Maclin, Breccan Casey, Jocelyn Martinez, Aminah, Sophia Al-Mashahdani, Parker and Lily Wood.
