He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Garland and Mattie Garland. He is survived by: his girlfriend Lula Whittemore; his sons, Adam Garland and Chase Garland (Hannah); his stepchildren, Maria Whittemore, Curt Compton, Michael Compton, Jeremy Compton and Jason Compton; and his grandchildren, Levi Garland, Boyie Garland and Johnny Garland.
