She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Dale and Gladys Dale (Gibson); her husband Charles Thurman; her grandson Patrick Thurman; her siblings, Linda Rogers and J. T. Dale; and her sister-in-law Bertha Davidson.
She is survived by: her daughter Alisa; her son-in-law Jeff Bryant; her son Randall; her daughter-in-law Trish Thurman; her grandchildren, Jake, Amanda Bryant, Hanna and Kevin Carter; her great grandchildren, Samuel Bryant, Carter and Brylee Cole; her siblings-in-law, Mazie Dale and Butch Rogers; and her close friends, Eulamae Elrod, Scott Logan, Chris Logan, Michael Smith and Maci Kiker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Flat Branch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund c/o Jerry Millsaps at 995 New Hope Rd. Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Sue.
