John Bascom Coleman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Bascom Coleman of Ellerslie, Georgia, who passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bascom Coleman, Sr. and Aldona S. Coleman; his sister Judy Coulter; his brother-in-law Mike Coulter; and his nephew Brad Benton.
He is survived by: his wife Winnie Coleman; his brothers, Jim (Sharon Coleman) and William B. Jr. (Becky Coleman); his children, Lisa (Bob Bunting), Kristen (Keith Homer), Christina Summers, Tonya (Paul Seguin) and Bobby (Bonnie Rogers); and his son-in-law John Thornton. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren. nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Carpenters Way Ranch (Methodist Children's Home) - 1645 Hunter Road, Cataula, Ga. 31804.
