Preskitt of Columbus, GA; his son Jerry Averill of Phenix City, AL; his mother-in-law Joyce Averill of Phenix City, AL; his stepgrandchildren, Zeb Harris of Columbus, GA and Charity Hyatt of Columbus, GA; and his siblings, William "Billy" Preskitt (Becky) of Ellerslie, GA, Paul Ernest Preskitt (Rosa) of Americus, GA, Eleanor Taft (Bobby) of Columbus, GA and Martha Preskitt of Americus, GA. He is also survived by three step great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
