He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Cheal (Pop) and Blanche Cheal. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine; his children, Tony Cheal (Angela) and Dewon Elks (Richard); his grandchildren, Allen, Adrienne Cheal, Joseph Jacklett and James Jacklett; and his caregiver Penny McCutchen. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery (553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856).
