It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Henry Hurt of Ellenwood, Georgia, who passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Patrick Henry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Patrick Henry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his sons, Henry Grady Hurt, Calvin Hurt and Alvin Hurt; his stepchildren, Demetris, Genia and Gerald; his brothers, Willie J. Hurt, Kelvin C. Hurt (Sue), John T. Hurt (Linda) and James H. Hurt (Merline); his sisters-in-law, Ela Hurt and Wylene Lankford; and his long-time buddy Floyd Dabney. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
