Linda Ellis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Ellis of Ellenwood, Georgia, who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie David and Jeanette Betts; and her sisters, Mae Alice Betts Alexander and Voncile Betts. She is survived by: her son Demond Ellis; her daughter-in-law Marvis Mills Ellis; her grandchildren, Skylar and Dylan; her siblings, Barbara Bradley, Gertrude Odom (Walter), Jeraldine Greene (Lonzie), Brenda Rudolph (late Andrew), Betty Roberson, Willie C. Betts (Linda), Rayford Betts (Caldonia), Diahann Broughton (Raymond), Maurice Betts, Kenneth Betts (Connie), David Betts (Tania) and Patricia Watson; her aunts, Josephine Armstrong and Roxie Betts; and her uncle Joe Lee Betts. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
As a result of Coronavirus Pandemic health risks, Homegoing services for Linda Y. Ellis will consist of a private family graveside celebration in the cemetery of her home church, Monroe Buelah Baptist, Drewry, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, Linda suggested that you might consider donating to the American Cancer Society or a Cancer Research organization of your choice.
