He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Cobb and Lorene Cobb; his brothers, F. J. Addison and Donald Cobb; and his son Dennis Langley.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Cobb (Chafin); his siblings, Joe Cobb (Judy), Willie Cobb (Eva) and Evalyn Sullivan; his daughters, Renee Panter (Ray), Carla Faulkner (Greg) and Michelle Watkins (Kevin); his daughter-in-law Anita Langley; and his grandchildren, Becky Daniel, Josh Panter, Tate Malone, Tegan Rivers, Jessica Burns, Adam Burns and Kelsey Watkins. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel (376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ward's Chapel.
