He was predeceased by: his wife Coral Margaret Peters Paul; his parents, Julian Christopher Paul and Laura Humphries Poli of Virginia; his stepmother Dorothy Elliott Paul; and his sister Virginia Paul Bastedo.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Bernstein (David), Paula Cook (Jim), Pamela Mims (David) and Priscilla Giella (Steve); his siblings, Joe Paul, Nancy Miller and Christine Hurst; his nephews, Stephen Bastedo and Michael Bastedo; and his grandson Jeffrey DiGanci (Lori).
