She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Mullinax and Lillie Mullinax; her husband Bill Knight; her sisters, Ruth Lindsay and Barbara McFarland; and her daughter-in-law Donna Knight.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Nix of Stockbridge, Elaine Meeks (Jeff) of Jenkinsburg and Donnie Knight of Ellenwood; her grandchildren, Lori Matthews, Steven Nix, Wayne Meeks (Melanie), Angie Tomlinson (Tim) and Russell Knight (Maria); and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Grant, Lydia, Lance, Levi, Brody and Barrett.
