She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Barron Fortner and Reginald C. Fortner, Sr.; and her brother Reginald C. Fortner, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Butts (Logan Phillips) of Gainesville, Florida and Ryan Butts (Roxanne) of Fayetteville, Georgia; her siblings, Thomas Fortner of Fayetteville, Georgia, Deborah Thames (Brian) of Elberton, Linda Beeghly (Zippo) of Griffin and Brenda Harp (Barney) of Meansville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Jade and Ella; and her pet Reagan.
