He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brinson and Inez Brinson; his son Alexander Brinson; and his siblings, Richard, George Brinson and Florence Brinson.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie; his daughters, Stacye Johnson of Augusta, Georgia and Stephanie Brinson of Augusta, Georgia; his stepsons, Andre Young and Rashan Young of Atlanta, Georgia.; his siblings, Calvin Brinson of Jacksonville, Florida, Francine B. Morris of Savannah, Georgia and Morton Brinson (Sabrina) of Mableton, Georgia.; and his grandchildren, Taylor Brinson, Keon Brinson, Marcus Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Sir Patrick Johnson and Diamond Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815).
