With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alberta M. Jacobs of Ellenwood, Georgia, born in Leslie, Georgia, who passed away on March 10, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Mae and Deacon D. C. Mercer; and her siblings, Annie Mercer James, Lonnie C. Mercer, Freddie Lee Mercer, Eddie James Mercer, Jessie James Mercer and Emory Charles Mercer.
She is survived by: her husband Lester Jacobs; her siblings, Deacon Johnny D. Mercer, Sr. of Americus, Ernestine Cooper of Atlanta and Sarah J. Mercer of Boca Raton, Florida; and her daughters, Andromeda Jacobs-Long (Neal) and Cassandra Jones (Mark). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, former co-workers and many friends.
