With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sherry Arlene Snipes of Ellaville, Georgia, whose life came to an end on December 16, 2024 at the age of 57, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Henry, Eunice Hewitt, James and Kathleen Welch. She is survived by: her mother Patsy Welch Hewitt of Buena Vista; her husband Barry Snipes of Ellaville; her father Roy Stewart; her brothers, Emory Hewitt of North Carolina, Henry Hewitt (Tammy) of Pensacola, FL and Grady Hewitt (Nicole) of Ellaville; and her in-laws, Betty, Talbot Harrison of Ellaville and Becky MacMinn (Dan) of Ellaville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Way-Watson Funeral Home (28 Oglethorpe St, Ellaville, GA 31806). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (2817 Ebenezer Rd, Ellaville, GA 31806).
