She was predeceased by: her former husband Randall Couey; and her siblings, George Blankenship, Margaret Hardy and Virginia Ivey. She is survived by: her husband Horace L. Simmons of Ellaville; and her pet Sandy. She is also survived by two stepchildren; a brother and sister-in-law; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
