It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanna Powell of Ellaville, Georgia, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Cochran and Ola Cochran; her daughter Teresa Lynn Ritter; and her siblings, Jackie Bendever, Julia Ford, Doris Youngblood, Don Melton and Ralph Melton.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Powell of Ellaville; her daughter Barbara Plantier of Port St; and her sister June Hurst of Ellaville. She is also survived by five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
