He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Vanderveer of Plains, GA; his sisters, Gladys Taylor (Eddie), Brenda Vanderveer and Kathy Vanderveer; and his grandchildren, Austin Vanderveer and Emma Vanderveer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
